How to Apply
Our waiting list for the Public Housing program is currently OPEN. Applications can be downloaded from our Home Page or may be picked up and returned at our administrative offices at 301 Michigan Street. Eligible applications will then be placed on a waiting list. Wait times vary, but average 6 months to over one year. When your application reaches the top of the waiting list, we must offer you an apartment in the complex where one is available. You are allowed up to three refusals before your application will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.
Applicants are required to notify our office of any changes in address, phone number, household size, or preference circumstances. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of your application.
